Free Developer Tool
Quickly resize and crop your images right in your browser without uploading them to a server.
Upload an image to crop
Supports JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF. Cropping is done entirely in your browser — no upload.
How It Works
Click the upload area or drag and drop any JPG, PNG, GIF, or WebP image. Files stay in your browser — nothing is uploaded to our server.
Use presets like 1:1 (Instagram), 16:9 (YouTube), or 4:5 (Instagram portrait). Or drag the corners to crop freely.
Drag the crop box to reposition, or drag the handles to resize. The preview updates in real time.
Click Download and the cropped version saves to your device. No account, no watermark, no upload.
FAQ
No — all image processing happens directly in your browser using the Canvas API. Your image never leaves your device. This also means it works offline after the page loads.
Square posts use 1:1. Portrait posts (which get more screen real estate in the feed) use 4:5. Landscape uses 1.91:1. Stories and Reels are 9:16.
Cropping doesn't compress the image — you're just selecting a portion of it. The output quality matches the quality of the original in the cropped area. If you start with a high-resolution image, the cropped version will also be high resolution.
